David Hull


Gareth Higgs

The Revd Dr David A Hull is a Methodist minister who has served in the worlds of church and education. Continuing to be a minister in Full Connexion with the British Methodist Conference, he currently serves within the Free Methodist Church UK as Lead Pastor of Freedom Church Bristol, based in Kingswood. He is Chair of Methodist Evangelicals Together and the inter-denominational mission organisation Share Jesus International, and is a member of the Evangelical Alliance Council. David is married to Sarah and they have three daughters.


The Revd Gareth Higgs is a Methodist minister, and is currently serving at the Superintendent minister at Plymouth Central Hall. Gareth is passionate about seeing the local church energised and impacting people’s lives, bringing transformation and hope to many people. He is also currently engaged in a part-time PhD in the area of church growth in British Methodism. Gareth is married to Laura and they have three young children.

Mrs Marian Izzard is delighted to serve MET as Administrator, and also remains as General Secretary for MET.
She lives on the Isle of Wight where her husband John is Superintendent Minister for the island. Apart from being a wonderful island to explore, they are both very excited about the immense opportunities that the island offers in terms of mission and outreach working with the Methodist churches and with the Churches Together Groups.




The Revd Derek Balsdon is a Methodist minister, currently serving MET as Development Worker, This follows 26 years of circuit ministry, which included serving in Gloucestershire, Cornwall and on the Staffordshire/Cheshire border. This role, funded by MET, seeks to provide a resource to develop the evangelical witness in Methodism. He is available to preach, lead Continuing Local Preacher Development, circuit and church weekends, staff retreats and speak about MET in Synods and other conferences. His special interests are prayer, preaching, healing and wholeness. He is married to Hilary, and they have three adult children.

Lynn is a lay worker at The King's Cross
Church in the Doncaster Circuit, and has
been managing the church's community
project, The Junction, for the last five years.
Her heart is to see people coming to faith
and growing and maturing in their discipleship.
